This seven- or eight-foot gator glided right up to a lakeside platform while we were walking the elevated trail at the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge on April 8, 2009. Best view I've ever gotten of one in the wild.

Photographed (as a half-dozen individual photos), stitched (with AutoStitch), edited (with ReelDirector), uploaded and blogged ALL on my iPhone. It scrolls too fast, Im only given 8 seconds for the maximum pan with the ReelDirector app (not sure why there is that limit).
